Carmencita

Sean told me the best story about Carmen.

Sean told me that he was bribing Carmen to clean up around the house with M&Ms. She came over to tell him she picked up the living room and he told her there were still a few things to pick up before she could have more. She said "god dang it" and her shoulders drooped. 

Today Sean decided to take us fishing. The kids have their own poles. So he spent the whole time fishing with Carmens tiny pink and purple barbie pole. That was funny enough. But, he was using worms as bait and when Carmen found them she got so excited. She was no longer interested in fishing and only wanted to play with them. Then Sean used all but the last one and Carmen claimed it as her pet. She named it Dora and was very upset that Dora couldn't come into the house. She put leaves and grass into the little box the worm came in and arranged everything just right. It was very cute. She LOVES animals and bugs. At her Mimi's house she loves collecting "beetles" and insisted we take some home with us the last time we were there.
At the park there was a tiny puppy she kept picking up and would not leave it alone.

I love her.
I have decided to glue an envelope into her baby book so I can write her letters. I want her to know no matter what that I love her more than anything in the world. I hope we always stay friends. 

She was painting this morning. One of her favorite things ever. And she said " Look Mommy C for Carmen" and then she added one for me and one for Louie.
