Lasik

So yesterday I had lasik

It went great and today I have 20/15 vision

I wasn't scared at all until I got into the waiting room

I could hear the laser and it hit me that I was about to have surgery on my eye

I calmed myself down and was good to go

They finally took me in and then I started shivering

Anxiety

It was over in 10 minutes with only 18 seconds of actual surgery

They put these sexy goggles on me and told me I had to wear them till I woke up the next day

I was not in pain but it was extremely uncomfortable verging on pain

My sister dropped me off at home and I crawled into bed and pretty much didn't get out til this morning

When I got up this morning I could read

I could read the shampoo bottle from across the room

I put on my regular sunglasses and drove myself to my follow up appointment

I cried because I was wearing regular sunglasses and I could see perfectly

It was totally worth it

Even though I am going to have to get new eyeliners and mascara

And I can't wear eye makeup for a week
